Buses from Takeda Station get crowded on event days
The City Bus Route 81 / Keihan Bus from Takeda Station (NW Exit 4) is the shortest route to the venue, but queues at the “Pulse Plaza Mae” stop can grow long on busy exhibition and concert days. If you have time, walking to the venue (approximately 15 minutes) is a viable alternative.
Arriving by car is easy — but confirm parking fees in advance
The venue is approximately three minutes from the Meishin Expressway’s Kyoto-Minami interchange, and a large on-site parking area is available. Parking may be charged depending on the event, so check with the event organizer before driving.
Avoid Fushimi roads during Fushimi Inari peak seasons
Fushimi Inari Taisha (approximately 3 km from the venue) draws large crowds during New Year, cherry blossom season, and autumn foliage season. During these periods, roads and bus services in southern Kyoto can become congested; using rail and bus for the full journey is recommended.
