Tips Before You Visit
Rain-free access via underground passage
The underground passage from JR Osaka Station’s Umekita Underground Exit connects directly to the venue on the 4th floor of the South Building, with no outdoor walking required. If arriving from other stations (Hankyu, Hanshin, or Osaka Metro), some outdoor walking is involved — check the weather before heading out.
South Building vs. North Building: know the difference
Grand Green Osaka is divided into the South Building, North Building, and Umekita Park. Congrès Square is in the South Building (4F). Take care not to follow signs for the North Building entrance or elevators, as the two buildings are separate. Follow the “South Building” (南館) signage from the underground passage.
Umekita Park remains under development through 2027
The Umekita North Park is scheduled for an early opening on November 20, 2026 (with full opening planned for spring 2027). Some construction areas will remain, which may limit access routes on the north side of the complex. Follow on-site signs when navigating the area.
Plan for weekend and holiday congestion
The park area and commercial facilities within Grand Green Osaka draw large weekend and holiday crowds. For MICE events and international conferences, weekday scheduling or arriving before venue opening is recommended. Nearby restaurants also fill up quickly — advance reservations or early lunch timing will help.
